Chick-fil-A LaPlace is independently owned and operated by Jasmine Spraggins, our franchised Owner-Operator, who has spent over 10 years with Chick-fil-A.
That is not a technicality. It means decisions about who we partner with, which fundraisers we run and who we hire are made here in LaPlace, not somewhere else.

When we opened.
The restaurant opened on March 24, 2022. Each of these happened at the opening itself.
The donation
When we opened in 2022 we donated $25,000 to Feeding America, distributed to partners across the greater New Orleans area.
Instead of a grand opening
In place of a traditional grand-opening celebration, we gave 100 local heroes free Chick-fil-A for one year.
The jobs
Opening the restaurant created approximately 120 jobs, with most Team Members living in St. John the Baptist Parish.
The ribbon cutting
Parish President Jaclyn Hotard and Sheriff Mike Tregre joined us for the ribbon cutting.
